“Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost,
I thank Thee for all the blessings and favours
Thou hast showered upon the soul of Thy servant Theresa of the Child Jesus,
during the twenty-four years she spent here on earth,
and in consideration of the merits of this Thy most beloved Saint,
I beseech Thee to grant me this favor,
if it is in accordance with Thy most Holy Will
and is not an obstacle to my salvation.”

After this Prayer follows the twenty-four “Glory Be…,”
between each of which may be included this short prayer:

“Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus, pray for us.”

The Glory Be Prayer

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.

The Twenty-four “Glory be to the Father” Novena can be said at any time. However, the ninth to the seventeenth of the month is particularly recommended, for on those days the petitioner joins in prayer with all those making the Novena.

The “Glory be to the Father” praising the Holy Trinity is said twenty-four times each of the nine days, in thanksgiving for all the blessings and favours given to Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus during the twenty-four years of her life. In addition, the above prayer, or a similar prayer may be said.

“23And they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling a mortal human being or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles. 24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the degrading of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.” (Romans 1:23-26). The picture above, does it not change the truth of god to a lie? Why? Because it is showing “the immortal God the Father as an image resembling a mortal human being.” And even Jesus be9ng shown in an image of huma being in the flesh is not according the what God tells us in His Word, “From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once knew Christ from a human point of view, we know him no longer in that way.” (2 Cor. 5:16). “…we know him no longer in that way.” What way? “from a human point of view.” This is very serious. Jesus tells us: “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” (John 14:15). Are not these Jesus’ commandments?
